Five sheets: the summary, your data with filters, and three breakdowns. The metrics are formulas, not pasted numbers — change something in the data and they recalculate.

Where the data comes from

The same table as the other two: jobs, visits, orders or tickets. A date column and something that looks like a category are enough.

Why formulas and not colours

The obvious promise would be „a good-looking Excel file": bold headers, borders, colours. The library that writes the file drops cell styling in its free version, so that would have been a promise I could not keep. Better said up front.

So instead of looks you get something more useful: the file is alive. The summary sheet holds no pasted numbers, it holds formulas over the data sheet. Delete three rows or fix a category, and every metric moves. An export with pasted numbers looks the same for one second and is dead the next.
